孩子们在门口等的时间，选一个孩子把小十字架（像上面显示的纸板剪影就可以）藏在教室的某个地方。孩子把十字架藏好后，让其他人进入教室。藏十字架的孩子叫出其他孩子的名字，并根据他们离十字架的距离说出“暖”或“冷”。让他们找到隐藏的十字架。如果时间允许，找到十字架的孩子可以再次把它藏起来，让班上的孩子再玩一次游戏。

WARMTH OF THE CROSS

Children are guided to find a hidden cross

TOPICS:

MATERIALS:

Small cross

DURATION:

Approximately 15 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will select one child to take a small cross (paper cutout as displayed above will work fine) and hide it somewhere in the classroom while the other kids wait outside. After the child hides the cross, let everyone back into the room. The child who hid the cross will call out the names of the kids and say warm or cold depending on how close they are to the cross. Have them continue until they find the hidden cross. If time permits, the one who finds the cross can hide it again so the class can play the game again.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

As we get closer to God, we can feel His warmth and love, and He draws us nearer and nearer to Him. However, when we turn from Him, and go the other way, it becomes harder and harder to feel the warmth and love He has for us.

"You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you." (Psalm 86:5 NIV)
