故事

孩子们，你们好！我听说你们正在学习所罗门王——那位有史以来最有智慧的君王。你们的老师觉得，让我来和你们分享我这一方的故事会是个好主意。你们愿意听听我的故事吗？

那是在很久很久以前。我听到了关于所罗门王智慧和财富的传闻。人人都在谈论所罗门王，说他能回答任何问题。我简直不敢相信！怎么可能一个人知道所有问题的答案呢？我心想：“这太不可思议了，我一定要亲自去看看。”

你们知道的，我出门旅行可是很讲究排场的。打包行李真是太有趣了！我让骆驼驮满了香料、黄金和宝石。旅途虽然漫长，但却非常愉快！

一到那里，我立刻进入正题。我向所罗门王提出了所有那些难题。告诉你们吧，我的问题可不简单，有些连我自己都觉得根本没有答案。结果呢？他居然一个不落，全都回答出来了！我简直不敢相信自己的耳朵。他真的是有史以来最有智慧的君王。我想，他向耶和华祈求智慧，实在是做了最聪明的决定。

哦，我有没有告诉你们他是多么蒙福？主极大地赐福给他，给了他许多美好的事物。所罗门王住在华丽的宫殿里，桌上总是摆满美味的食物。他有大臣侍立、仆人穿着华服，还有酒政在旁服侍。哦，是的，还有更多呢，不过要全部说出来可要花很长时间。我简直不敢相信，一个人竟然能拥有这么多。

我向所罗门王表达了我的钦佩。主在把所罗门立为王的时候，真是知道自己在做什么。神如此爱以色列，就设立了一位伟大的君王，好使他的百姓得着公义和公平。既然我知道主的祝福在所罗门身上，我也决定献上我最好的礼物。我送给他一百二十他连得的黄金、宝石，还有几乎我所有的香料。顺便说一句，没有人送给他的香料比我更多。

在我献上这些之后，所罗门王也从他的王室宝库中，把我所想要的一切赐给了我。我心满意足地回到了自己的国家。

好了，我希望今天对你们多少有些帮助。不过现在我得回去忙我的工作了，做女王可是件辛苦的事呢！祝你们学习所罗门王的故事学习得愉快。再见！

PREPARATION:

Before reading the story, place a crown on your head. If possible, arrange for a guest to play the part of the Queen of Sheba and read the story to the children.

Hello little children. I have heard that you are learning about King Solomon, the wisest king that ever lived.Your teacher thought that it would be a good idea for me to come in and tell you my side of the story. Would you like to hear my side of the story?

It was a long, long time ago. Word came to me about King Solomon’s wisdom and wealth. Everyone was talking about how King Solomon knew the answer to any question. I just couldn't believe that. There was no way that one man knew the answer to any question. I thought to myself, “This is crazy. I am going to have to go see this for myself.”

Well, you know I like to travel in style. It was so much fun to pack. I packed my camels with spices, gold, and precious stones. The trip was long, but so much fun!

As soon as I arrived, I got right down to business. I asked King Solomon all my hard questions. Let me tell you, I threw some good ones at him: questions I didn’t even think had answers. Guess what? He was able to answer all of my hard questions, every single one. I couldn’t believe my ears. He was surely the wisest king that ever lived. I guess he did the smartest thing when he asked the Lord for wisdom.

Oh, did I tell you how blessed he was? The Lord blessed him so much and gave him so many beautiful things. King Solomon lived in a gorgeous palace. He always had yummy food on the table. He had royal officials, attending servants wearing nice robes, and cupbearers. Oh, yes, there was even more, but it would take me too long to list all of them for you. I couldn’t believe my eyes that one man could possess so much.

I let King Solomon know that I was impressed. The Lord knew what He was doing when He placed King Solomon on the throne. God loved Israel so much. He appointed a great king to ensure justice and righteousness for His people. Because I knew now that the blessing of the Lord was on King Solomon, I decided to contribute some of my finest too. I gave him 120 talents of gold, precious stones, and almost all the spices I had. By the way, no one gave him more spices than I did.

After I gave him all of that, King Solomon gave me all that I desired from his royal treasury. I went back to my country very satisfied.

Well, I hope I have been somewhat helpful today. However, I must get back to my job. It is hard work being a queen. Enjoy your study on King Solomon. Bye!
