跟孩子们解释，什么是“寻找失丧的人”。可以讲路加福音15:8-10节里寻找丢失钱币的比喻。

圣经故事(15分钟)

介绍完课程之后，朗读圣经中撒该的故事。如有可能，使用《儿童圣经》，这样孩子们会更容易理解。

介绍：

我们今天要学习的故事与一位住在耶利哥的人有关。他身材矮小。听说耶稣要进城，这人就非常想见祂。但因为身材矮小，他怎么能在其他人都站在那儿的情况下，看到耶稣呢。让我们看看，在耶稣来的时候，这个人是如何做的，又发生了什么呢？

朗读路加福音19:1-10（撒该爬上桑树）

讨论问题：

1. 为什么撒该爬上了一颗树？（因为个子矮小，但想看到耶稣。）

2. 耶稣看到撒该时，祂说了什么？（撒该快下来。）

3. 撒该按照耶稣的要求做了吗？（是的。）

4. 耶稣说祂要去谁家里？（撒该家。）

5. 撒该拿了穷人的东西，还是把自己一半的东西给了穷人？（把他一半的东西给了出去。）

6. 当耶稣找到撒该的时候，祂高兴吗？（是的。）

7. 我们如何警醒并预备好耶稣的到来？（让孩子们畅所欲言。）

感谢耶稣来到世上找到我们。祈求祂给我们每天在生活中跟随祂的渴望。孩子们在享受零食的时候，问如果他们生活在撒该的年代，为了见主耶稣，他们会怎么做。他们会爬上树吗？会早起床吗？会吃掉所有该吃的蔬菜吗？

LESSON 3: ZACCHAEUS CLIMBS A TREE

BIBLE VERSE (7 minutes)

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Luke 19:10 NIV

Explain to the children what it means to seek what is lost. You may want to use the parable of the lost coin found in Luke 15:8-10.

BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

After the introduction, read the story about Zacchaeus right from the Bible. If possible, use a Children's Bible so it will be easier for the kids to understand.

Introduction:Our Bible story today is about a man who lived in Jericho. He was very short. He heard that Jesus was coming into town and wanted to see Him very much. But being so short, how would he see over the other people standing there. Let's find out what he did and what happened when Jesus came.

Read Luke 19:1-10 (Zacchaeus Climbs a Sycamore-fig Tree)

Discussion Questions:

1. Why did Zacchaeus climb a tree? (To see Jesus, because he was short.)

2. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, what did He say? (Zacchaeus come down.)

3. Did Zacchaeus do what Jesus asked? (Yes.)

4. At whose house did Jesus say He was going to stay? (Zacchaeus house.)

5. Did Zacchaeus take things from the poor, or give the poor half of what he had? (Gave half of what he had.)

6. Was Jesus happy that He found Zacchaeus? (Yes.)

7. How can we watch and be ready for Jesus? (Allow for answers.)

Thank Jesus that He came to earth to find us. Ask Him to give us a desire to follow Him every day of our life. As the children enjoy the snacks, ask them to share what they would do to see Jesus if they were living at the time of Zacchaeus. Would they climb a tree? Wake up early, Eat all of their vegetables?
