一起读几遍这节经文。在房间里走一圈,让孩子们分享他们对经文的看法;这对他们意味着什么?帮助孩子理解这两个词语:“偏离”和“诫命”。不偏离是什么意思?


故事(15分钟)

让孩子们围着你,为讲故事做准备。在介绍之后,读一下圣经中关于迷失的羊的故事。


介绍:

耶稣用故事教导我们认识神。这些故事叫比喻。圣经里也有许多比喻来帮助我们认识神。今天我们来听一个关于好牧人和迷失的羊的故事。我们将从两个不同的地方读到耶稣讲述的这个故事。一处来自太18:10-14,另一处来自路15:1-7。


读 太18:10-14 和 路15:1-7

问题讨论:

  1. 今天的故事中,什么动物丢失了?(羊)

  2. 多少只羊丢失了?(一只。)

  3. 当牧人发现他的一只羊丢失了,他做了什么?(去找它。)

  4. 牧人找到丢失的羊之后,他做了什么?(把它带回家,感恩地告诉他的朋友。)

  5. 谁是我们好的牧人?(耶稣。)

  6. 为什么知道耶稣是我们的好牧人,让我们感到安慰?(让孩子们自由分享。)

PARABLES

LESSON 2: The Lost Sheep


This lesson will help the children discover that Jesus is our good shepherd. He protects and cares for us.

BIBLE VERSE (5 minutes)

"I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands." Psalm 119:10 NIV


Read the verse together several times. Go around the room and ask children to share their thoughts on the verse; what does it mean to them? Help the children understand the words stray and commands. What does it mean not to stray?


BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

Gather the children around you in preparation for story time. After the introduction, read the story about the lost sheep right from the Bible. If possible, use a Children's Bible so it will be easier for the kids to understand.


Introduction:

Jesus used stories to teach people about God. These stories are called parables. Many parables have been put into the Bible to help us learn about God too. Today we will hear a story about a good shepherd and a lost sheep. We will read this story told by Jesus from two different places in the Bible. One is from the gospel written by Matthew, and the other is the gospel written by Luke.


Read Matthew 18:10-14 & Luke 15:1-7

Discussion Questions:

1. In today's story what kind of animal was lost? (A Sheep.)

2. How many sheep were lost? (One.)

3. What did the shepherd do when he found that one of his sheep was missing? (He went to find it.)

4. What did the shepherd do when he found the lost sheep? (Carried it home and thankfully told his friends.)

5. Who is our good shepherd? (Jesus.)

6. Why is it comforting to know that Jesus is our Good Shepherd? (Allow for answers.)

Thank God for loving and for protecting us. For today's snack, pop some popcorn or get some miniature marshmallows - as both of these snacks are kind of fluffy like sheep's wool.
