课前准备

用一根蜡笔，沿着咖啡过滤纸中心圆的边画出一个圈，然后在圆圈下面写上“发出你的光”的字样。在“发出你的光”字样的另一边写上马太福音5:16。你要为课上每个孩子作一个，若能手边多备几个给来访生用，就更好。

说明

在咖啡过滤纸上，你画的圆圈里面，让孩子们用蜡笔画一张自己的脸。（备用方案是，在咖啡过滤纸中心圆里，孩子们可以画一张耶稣的像或一个十字架。）

给孩子们演示如何将他们完成的手工固定在手电筒上。将咖啡过滤纸放在手电筒的一端，然后用橡皮圈固定。固定好后，打开手电筒，就会看到一张发光的脸。

2.说

孩子们在做手工时，解释说为什么对他人传扬耶稣很重要。当我们传扬耶稣时，我们就是在发光。

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

Children learn that it is important to tell others about Jesus with this fun filled craft.

TOPICS:

MATERIALS:

Coffee Filters

Crayons

Rubber band

Flashlight(s)

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Using a crayon, draw a circle around the center edge of the coffee filter and then write "Let Your Light Shine" directly under the circle you drew. Just opposite of "Let Your Light Shine" write Matthew 5:16. You will need to make one template for each child in class and it may be wise to have a couple extra on hand for visitors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Have the children use crayons to draw a picture of their face on the coffee filter within the circle you drew. (As an alternative, children could draw a picture of Jesus or a Cross in the center of the coffee filter.)

Demonstrate how the children can attach their finished craft to a flashlight. Place the coffee filter over the end of the flashlight and then secure it in place using the rubber band. When finished turn on the flashlight to see a glowing face.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

As the children work on their craft explain why it is important for all of us to tell others about Jesus. When we tell others about Jesus, we are letting our light shine.
