准备工作

课前准备好4台收音机，提前选好一个笑话或几个谜语，准备好讲给孩子们听。

说明

1.做

课前先将每台收音机调到不同的频道。上课时，先问孩子们：“你们有多少人喜欢听音乐？”（大部分孩子都会举手）

然后告诉他们：“我等会儿要讲一个有趣的笑话。”

当你开始讲笑话时：

先打开第一台收音机。
等几秒钟后，再打开第二台收音机。
再等几秒钟，打开第三台收音机。
最后，打开第四台收音机。

随着每一台收音机的开启，环境的嘈杂度会逐渐增加。

2.说

当只有一台收音机开着时，听我的笑话容易吗？当第二台开了之后，是更容易还是更难听清？第三台呢？第四台呢？

随着收音机一台台被打开，听清楚笑话的难度越来越大，注意力也越来越难集中。

当我们在祷告、与神交谈时，也常常遇到类似的情况。我们周围有太多的“事情”在发生，导致我们很难听见神那温柔微小的声音。

在祷告前，学会放慢脚步，尽可能消除干扰，你就会发现：祷告的时间变得更丰富、更有意义。

Listening For God

Distractions in our busy days can make it harder to hear God's quiet voice.

TOPICS:

MATERIALS:

4 Radios, items that have soundPower StripJokes and riddles Click here

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class obtain 4 radios and plug them into the power strip. Then plug the power strip into the wall outlet. If you prefer you can use 4 battery operated radios. Choose a joke or a few riddles to tell the children.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Before class, make sure to tune each radio to a different station. Ask the kids how many of them like music. Most, if not all of them, will raise their hands. Tell them that you are going to tell them a funny joke.

As you begin to tell a joke, first turn on one radio. Wait a few moments and turn on the second radio. Wait again and turn on the third radio. Wait a few more moments and turn on the last radio.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Was it easy or hard to listen to the joke with one radio on? Did it get easier or harder to hear the joke when I turned on the second radio? The third? The fourth? As each radio was turned on, it became harder and harder to hear or concentrate on the joke.

It is much the same when we pray or talk to God. We can have so many "Things" going on around us that it becomes very hard to hear God's soft still voice. It is helpful to slow down and remove as many distractions as possible before we begin to pray. Remove the distractions and you will find that your prayer time soon becomes richer and more meaningful.
