课前准备

为班上每位学生准备一个小石头。石头要足够大，方便孩子在上面写字：“耶和华是我的磐石诗篇18:2”。

说明

给每位孩子一个石头和一支细头记号笔。如果记号笔数量有限，可以让孩子们轮流使用。

接着，让学生在圣经中找到诗篇 18:2，并一起朗读这节经文。然后指导每个孩子在石头上写下：

耶和华是我的磐石 -诗篇18:2

在孩子们制作的过程中，可以向他们解释：有些人会依靠自己的力量，或者依靠自己做出来的东西来保护自己，但这些都不能长久。

The Lord is My Rock

When finished, this craft will be a reminder that the Lord is our fortress, our deliverer, our shield, and the strength of our salvation.

MATERIALS:

Small rock for each childFine point permanent markers

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Each student in class will need a small rock. The rocks will need to be large enough to permit the children to write, "The LORD is my Rock Psalm 18:2."

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Give each of the children one rock and a fine point permanent marker. If you have a limited number of permanent markers ask the students to share.

Next, have the students find Psalm 18:2 in their Bibles. Read the verse together as a class. Instruct each child to write the following portion of the verse on his or her rock:

The LORD is my Rock

Psalm 18:2

As the children work on the craft, explain that some people try to depend on their own strength or the things that they have made to protect them, but these things never last very long.

Explain that this stone will be a reminder to them, that the Lord is our fortress, our deliverer, our shield, the strength of our salvation, and the one in whom we can take refuge. It is wise to trust in the Lord because His help lasts forever and cannot be destroyed.
