1.做

向孩子们解释，神是灵，大多数时候在历史中祂对我们是不可见的。当耶稣生活在人间时，人们才能看到神。今天我们肉眼不能看到神，但每一秒祂都在影响着我们。

是神让太阳照耀，让地球保持在与太阳刚刚好的距离。如果地球更靠近太阳，我们就会被热得无法生存；如果更远，我们又会冷得无法活下去。神的律和大能让整个宇宙得以稳固。

2.说

把每个孩子的棉球发下去，然后说：

“拿起你的棉球，高高举过头顶上。数到三的时候，松手：一、二、三！有多少棉球还停留在你头顶的上方？有多少掉下来了？为什么棉球会掉下去？对了，因为有重力。谁创造了重力？你能看见重力吗？重力对我们有什么用呢？想象一下，如果没有重力，我们的房子都会飘到太空去了！”

接着说：

“现在把你的棉球放在桌子前面，轻轻地吹一口气。它动了吗？你刚刚有碰到它吗？是什么让它动的？没错，是你的呼吸，也就是风。是谁让风吹起来的？你能看见风吗？风对我们有什么用？如果没有风，云彩就不会移动；没有云彩，我们就不会有雨；没有雨，我们就没有水。”

总结：

这只是神在我们生命中“看不见的作为”的两个例子。若你仔细想，一定能想到更多。

当我们祷告、寻求神的时候，祂会以我们肉眼看不见的方式来帮助我们。但这些帮助确确实实是来自神。我们都应该感谢神，每一天都在帮助我们。

Unseen Power

God's unseen power: what would we do without it?

Cotton ball for each child

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Explain to the children that God is a spiritual being and for the most part, He has remained invisible to us through out history. We could of course, see God when Jesus was living among men. Today we may not be able to see God physically, yet He influences our lives every second of the day. God keeps the sun shinning and keeps the Earth at just the right distance from the sun. If the Earth were any closer to the sun it would much too hot for us to survive, but if were any urther away it would be much too cold for us. God's laws and power keep the universe in place.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Give each child a cotton ball, and say: Take your cotton ball and hold it high above your heads. On the count of three, let go of your cotton ball: one, two three! How many of your cotton balls continued to stay high above your heads? How many of the cotton balls fell? Why did the cotton balls fall? That's right; all of the cotton balls fell because of gravity. Who made gravity? Can you see gravity? Why is gravity useful to us? Can you imagine what are lives would be like without gravity, why our houses would float off into space!

Pick up your cotton ball and place it in front of you on the table. Softly blow on your cotton ball until it moves. Did you touch it? What caused the cotton ball to move? That's right your breath or wind caused the cotton ball to move. Who makes it possible for the wind to blow? Can you see the wind? How is wind useful to us? Without wind the clouds would not move, without clouds we would not have rain, without rain we would not have water.

These were just two examples of God's invisible interaction in our life. If you think about it, you can surely come up with many more examples. When we pray and seek God, He will help us in ways we may not be able to see, but the help comes from God nonetheless. We should all be thankful that God helps us every day.
