(Word Search) The children will search for words that represent thankfulness. by Leah Pittsigner TOPICS: Thankfulness MATERIALS: Word search for each child [PDF] Click here Solution Pencils DURATION: Approximately 15 minutes PREPARATION: Print one word search for each child and one answer key for the class.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Give each child a word search handout and a pencil. Ask the children to find the hidden words. Application: Which of these words do you think about when you consider what it means to be thankful? Are there any new words that surprised you? There are many ways to show thankfulness that go beyond just saying “Thank you.” Putting actions with our words shows others that we are truly thankful.
