THANKFULNESS CHALLENGE
The children will list words by using the letters in “thankfulness.” by Leah Pittsinger TOPICS: Thankfulness MATERIALS: Activity Page [PDF] Click here Pencils DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes
PREPARATION:
Print one handout for each child. Set a handout and a pencil at each child’s place.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Ask the children to complete the handout. Application: How many words did you find? “Thankfulness” is a long word, so you were probably able to write down numerous answers. But something to remember is there are also numerous ways to show thankfulness. Can you come up with some of those ways (praying, reading the Bible, singing, praising, serving, obeying, etc)? Let’s practice showing thankfulness during this Thanksgiving season.
