WHAT YOU WILL DO:
First, the kids will look up verses in the Bible that describe times God poured out his wrath on a sinful people. The kids will complete the activity sheet by identifying the transgression that resulted in God's wrath from a list of sins at the bottom of the page.
Genesis 6: 11-13
God told Noah He would put an end to all people on earth, because it was corrupt and full of violence.
Genesis 19:12-13
The story about Sodom and Gomorrah. God destroyed these two cities because the outcry to the Lord against His people was so great.
Numbers 32:10-13
The story about the Gadites and Reubenites who would not go to war with the rest of the Israelites. God was angry because they would not follow Him wholeheartedly.
Joshua 22:20
Achan kept what was not his. God's wrath came upon the whole community. Achan was unfaithful.
2 Kings 21:11-15
Manasseh, King of Judah, did more evil than the Amorites by leading Judah into sin. He brought on God's wrath because he caused the people under his reign to do evil in God's eyes.
Psalms 78:58-59
Again Israel rebelled against God, and brought wrath because they aroused His jealousy with their idols.
