FOOTBALL GAME
Use this popular sport to help the kids review what they have learned.

MATERIALS: Football field drawn on poster paper Cutout of football 20 - 30 review questions
DURATION: Approximately 20 to 30 minutes
PREPARATION: Use color markers to draw a football field onto a large sheet of poster board as shown below. Then tape or use “sticky tack” to display the field on a wall. Cut out and color a football, about 4 inches long to use as the game marker. Use a small amount of tape or “sticky tack” to attach the football to the field. To play the game, you will also need to come up with 20 or 30 questions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Form two teams, deciding who will start by a toss of a coin. Have each team pick a name, and then write the names in the goal areas. Begin the game with the football on the 50-yard line. Each time a team gets an answer correct, move the ball 10 yards closer to the other team's goal. When an incorrect answer is given, the other team gets to answer a question and try to move the ball the opposite direction. Once a goal is scored, the ball is again placed on the 50-yard line, and other team is given the next question.
