Children have fun playing a different version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, which helps them remember the account of Jesus healing a blind man.

Sticky Tac®

Blindfold

DURATION:

Approximately 15 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class, print the blind man poster and tape it at about the same height as the majority of the children. Roll the Sticky Tac® into a ball about the size of a golf ball.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Today, we are going to play a game called Miracle Mud, which will help us remember the account of Jesus miraculously healing a blind man by smearing mud on a blind man’s eyes. Each of you will take a turn being blindfolded. I will spin you around 7 times and point you in the right direction. You will try to find the wall and put the mud (Sticky Tac®) over one of the blind man's eyes. The player that gets the closest to covering one of the blind man’s eyes is the winner. If need be, place each student's initials next to the location of where he or she placed the mud (Sticky Tac®).
