解释：只有一位真神，其他任何被当作神的事物都是假神或偶像。假神或偶像没有能力，是徒然无益的。

圣经故事(15分钟)

让孩子们围坐在你身边，准备听故事。介绍之后，直接从圣经中朗读这段故事。如果可能，请使用儿童圣经，使孩子更容易理解。

引言：

所罗门极其富有，也是全国最有智慧的王，但他仍然只是一个人。在今天的课程中，我们将看到所罗门如何因为听从他人而陷入得罪神的境地。

读列王纪上 11:4–14（所罗门离弃耶和华）

讨论问题:

当所罗门王年老时，他的妻子是如何使他得罪神的？（她们使他的心转向别神。）
所罗门在耶和华眼中做了什么恶事？（他的心不再完全归向神，而是随从他妻子的假神。）
神曾禁止所罗门做什么？（神禁止他随从别神。）
所罗门遵守了神的命令吗？（没有，他选择讨人的喜悦，而不是讨神的喜悦。）
因为所罗门不顺服，神做了什么？（神告诉所罗门，要把国从他手中夺去，赐给别人。）
所罗门的不顺服还带来了什么后果？（国中不再有平安，神兴起敌人攻击所罗门。）

KING SOLOMON

LESSON 4: What did Solomon Forget?

From this lesson, children learn that they need to keep their lives focused on God. If not, there is a risk of other things creeping in and becoming more important.

BIBLE VERSE (5 minutes)

"You shall have no other gods before me" Exodus 20:3 NIV

Explain that there is only God, anything else is false god or an idol. False gods/idols are powerless and a waste of time.

BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

Gather the children around you in preparation for story time. After the introduction, read the story right from the Bible. If possible, use a Children's Bible so it will be easier for the kids to understand.

Introduction:Solomon was rich beyond compare and the wisest king in the land, but he was still just a man. In today's lesson we will see how Solomon let other people get him into trouble with God.

Read 1 Kings 11:4-14 (Solomon turns from the Lord)

Discussion Questions:

1. When King Solomon grew old, how did his wives get him in trouble with God? (They turned his heart to other gods.)

2. What evil did King Solomon do in the eyes of the Lord? (Solomon's heart was no longer fully devoted to God and he followed the false gods of his wives.)

3. What did God forbid King Solomon to do? (God forbid Solomon to follow other gods.)

4. Did Solomon keep God's commandment? (No, he chose to please people instead of God.)

5. What did God do because King Solomon disobeyed? (God told King Solomon that he would tear the kingdom away from him and give it to someone else.)

6. What else happened because of King Solomon's disobedience? (There was no longer peace in the kingdom, God rose up an enemy against King Solomon.)
