耶和华所赐的福,使人富足,并不加上忧虑。-箴言 10:22(NIV)


为了帮助记忆这节经文,可以为一些词语设计手势。例如:

  • 祝福:给自己一个大大的拥抱

  • :用一只手在心口做出“L”形

  • 富足:双手合拢,脸枕在上面,满足的样子

  • 忧虑/烦恼:摇头


和孩子们配合手势反复诵读几遍经文后,可以只做手势,让孩子们尝试自己背诵。


圣经故事(15分钟)

请孩子们围坐在一起,准备听故事。介绍之后,直接从圣经中阅读所罗门与示巴女王的故事。若可以,使用儿童圣经,使内容更容易理解。


引言:

大家都在谈论所罗门王极大的财富和智慧。有一天,示巴女王想亲眼看看所罗门是否真的像人们所说的那样有智慧、有福分。于是她决定去拜访他。她发现人们所说的都是真的,也明白了所罗门的一切智慧和祝福都来自主。


读 列王纪上 10:1–10, 13, 23(示巴女王来访)

讨论问题:

  1. 谁想亲眼看看所罗门的智慧和祝福?(示巴女王)

  2. 示巴女王向所罗门提出了什么样的问题?(难题)

  3. 所罗门能回答所有问题吗?(能)

  4. 所罗门的智慧和祝福来自哪里?(来自主)

  5. 示巴女王因深受感动,送给所罗门什么?(120他连得金子、大量香料和宝石)

  6. 所罗门如何表达对示巴女王的感谢?(赐给她所求所愿的一切)

  7. 如果所罗门愿意赐给示巴女王这么多祝福,那么神对我们又是多么愿意赐福呢?(鼓励孩子回答)

LESSON 3: Blessings From the Lord

BIBLE VERSE (7 minutes)

"The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it." Proverbs 10:22 NIV


To help memorize the verse, assign hand symbols to the words and phrases.

For example:   

Blessings: Give yourself a big hug   

Lord: Form an "L" with one hand over your heart   

Wealth: Pretend to count out paper money   

Trouble: Shake your head  


After saying the verse several times with the children using the symbols, see how well they can say the verse by themselves while watching you do the hand symbols.


BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

Gather the children around you in preparation for story time. After the introduction, read the story about Solomon and the Queen of Sheba right from the Bible. If possible, use a Children's Bible so it will be easier for the kids to understand.


Introduction:

Everyone was talking about King Solomon and his vast wealth and knowledge. One day, the Queen of Sheba wanted to see if King Solomon was truly as wise and blessed as the people said. She decided to pay the King a visit. She found out that all the stories people told were true. She also discovered that all of Solomon's wisdom and blessings came from the Lord.


Read 1 Kings 10:1-10, 13, 23 (A Visit by the Queen of Sheba)


Discussion Questions:

1. Who wanted to see King Solomon's wisdom and blessings with her own eyes? (The Queen of Sheba.) 

2. What kinds of questions did the Queen of Sheba ask King Solomon? (Hard ones.) 

3. Was King Solomon able to answer all of the questions? (Yes.) 

4. From where did King Solomon's wisdom and blessings come? (From the Lord.) 

5. What did the Queen of Sheba give King Solomon because she was so impressed? (She gave him 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones.) 

6. How did King Solomon show his appreciation to the Queen of Sheba? (He gave her all she desired and requested from his royal bounty.) 

7. If Solomon was willing to give the Queen of Sheba many blessings, how much more willing will God be to us? (Allow for answers.)

Have different snacks if possible, and allow the children to choose which one(s) they would like to eat. Thank God for all His blessings both seen and unseen and don't forget to thank Him for the snacks. While eating, ask the children to share the many ways they have been blessed by God.
