1.做

1) 让孩子沿着墙排成一排。

2) 然后你一个一个叫他们的名字，给他们机会往目标前进。目标可以是对面另一面墙。

3)孩子必须说，“这样作讨神喜悦吗？” 如果他们这么说，你必须回说，“是的，讨神喜悦的。”然后，他们可以迈出步子向目标前进。

4)如果他们忘了说这句话，“这样作讨神喜悦吗？” ，他们就缺一轮，不能往前走。

5)如果孩子没按老师说的步子走，或跳时摔倒了，那么他就必须回到起点，重新开始。

6)老师要尽量让更多的孩子同时都往前走，并且用尽量多的不同类型的步子。

步子：

小摩西步子：一只脚直接放在另一只脚前面，脚跟碰着脚尖。

歌利亚步子：腿迈得越大越好。

骆驼跳：小幅度地往前跳。

狮子跳：大幅度地往前跳。

牧羊人步子：正常地往前走。

上面的步子可以单独用，也可以合起来用。

2.说

告诉孩子，这个游戏就像问“妈妈，我可以吗？”但是，这里我们不问“妈妈，我可以吗？”，而是问，“这样作讨神喜悦吗？”然后给孩子仔细说清楚游戏规则。

例子：

老师：“安迪，你能作两个骆驼跳和走一个小摩西步子吗？”

安迪：“这样作讨神喜悦吗？”

老师：“是的，讨神喜悦的。”

安迪就往前走，然后你叫下一个孩子。

DOES IT PLEASE THE LORD?

Like the familiar game "Mother May I?" but with a Biblical twist.

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The children will all line up along one wall. You will then call the children by name, one by one and offer them a chance to take certain steps to get to the goal. For example, the goal could be the opposite wall. The children must say, "Does it please the Lord?" If they say this, you should answer, "Yes it does.” Then they can take the steps described. If they forget, they skip one turn. If the child takes the wrong step, cheats, or falls down during a jump, they need to go back to the start. The object for the teacher is to have the children progress evenly as much as possible by offering the different kind of steps shown below:

Steps:

You can offer 1, 2, 3 or more of any of the following steps. You can also combine steps.

Baby Moses Step (one foot directly in front of and touching the other)

Goliath Step (leg stretched out as far as possible)

Camel Hop (short hop)

Lion Leap (long hop)

Shepherd Step (normal step)

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Explain to the children that this game is like "Mother May I?" but instead of saying, "Mother may I?" they should say, "Does it please the Lord?" Describe the other rules about cheating, falling, or forgetting to say the correct phrase as well.

Example:

Teacher: "Andy, you may take 2 camel hops and 1 Baby Moses step."

Andy: "Does it please the Lord?"

Teacher: "Yes it does."

Andy takes the steps, and then you go to the next child.
