课前准备

课前将彩色卡纸纵向裁成两半。在每张纸的中央写上：“Wise men still seek Jesus today!”（今日智慧人仍然寻求耶稣！）

每个孩子需要一张。

说明

1.做

让孩子先装饰纸张：使用蜡笔和星星贴纸装饰写有句子的卡纸。
卷纸成圆筒：
- 帮孩子将装饰好的卡纸，图案朝外，包在卫生纸卷筒外。
- 卡纸绕卷筒转一圈后，把卷筒往上推一点，用胶带固定卡纸底部。
- 抽出卷筒，再把卡纸顶部也用胶带固定。
重复步骤：用同样的方法制作第二个筒。
连接望远镜两侧：使用一段胶带将两个卷好的纸筒连接在一起，使望远镜更稳固。点击链接查看图示教学。

2.说

让孩子举着他们的望远镜在教室里探索。

提醒他们：我们也要像智慧人一样，每一天都寻求耶稣！

节省时间的选项（Timesaving Option）：

你也可以 在课前预先作好望远镜，上课时只让孩子用星星贴纸温柔地装饰即可。

Seeking Binoculars

In this activity, children will create a pair of binoculars to remind them to look for Jesus and seek Him daily.by Lauren Shelnutt

Approximately 15 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class, cut construction paper in half vertically. In the center of each slip, write “Wise men still seek Jesus today!” Each child will need one sheet.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Allow the children to decorate their paper with crayons and stickers. Then individually help the children roll their construction paper—design side out—around the toilet paper roll. Once the construction paper is wrapped around the tube one time, slide the tube up and use a piece of tape to hold the paper in place at the bottom. Slide the tube out and tape the top as well. Repeat this process with the remaining side. Use a piece of tape to connect both sides of the rolled-up paper together for additional sturdiness. Click here for visual instructions

Allow kids to go exploring around the room holding their binoculars up to their eyes. Remind them to always seek after Jesus just like the wise men did!

Timesaving Option:

Make a pair of binoculars for each child before class and then allow students to decorate their binoculars gently with star stickers.
