如果照片足够多,可让每个孩子拿一张向全班介绍;

BIBLE VERSE (7 minutes)
“Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.” Colossians 3:20 NIV
Read the verse to the class and show the children where the verse is found in the Bible. Then say one word or phrase at a time while the class repeats the word(s). Next, ask the children to sit in a circle on the floor with you. Then roll a ball to one of the children and invite the class to say one word at a time with you when the ball is rolled. Next, ask him or her roll to the ball to another child for the second word, then to a third child for the third word, etc. Continue this activity until the verse has been recited as a class at least two times.
BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)
Introduction:
Growing and knowing more about God takes hard work and obedience. Today’s lesson will teach us how working hard and obeying God helps us serve Him and others. And as we grow, we will be able to share the love of Jesus even more!
Read Colossians 3:23-25, 4:2-6 (Working, obeying, and growing.)
Discussion Questions:
1. How should we work? Why? (With all our hearts because we serve God!)
2. What will we receive when we do this? (The heavenly rewards from God.)
3. What things should we work hard at doing? (Praying, watching for ways to serve, being thankful.)
4. How can we learn to do these things? (By praying and reading our Bibles every day, helping others whenever we can, going to church to learn more about God, etc.)
5. Why was Paul in chains (in prison)? (Because he had shared about Jesus’ love and sacrifice.)
6. How should we treat people who don’t know about Jesus? (With love and kindness.)
7. What kinds of things should we talk about? (Things that are good, loving, and truthful.)
8. What do love and respect have to do with learning more about God? (As we serve others, we learn to be more like God.)
Conclusion: A growing believer in Jesus Christ knows that there are always opportunities to share His love! As we work for the Lord and grow, we will have a greater desire to share His love with others so that they too may know Him. And it’s important to know that even when we sin and mess up, God can use us to do good. Jesus desires a close, personal relationship with each of us, and we can trust Him because of His sacrifice.

PRAYER/SNACK (10 minutes)

Lead the children in prayer and then pass out a healthy snack. While eating, tell the class about a time when it was hard for you to serve God, such as through a trial or challenge. Describe your feelings (e.g. scared, sad, or angry) and how God comforted you. Consider also commenting about working hard instead of giving up. Encourage the children to pray, trust God, and ask for help when they too feel sad or upset.
CLOSING ACTIVITY (5-10 minutes)
Bring 6-10 pictures of people who are working hard (both in the church and community). If there are enough pictures, you may give each child his or her own picture to show the class and point out the hard worker(s). If there aren’t enough pictures, then hold up one picture at a time for the class to discuss together. Emphasize that everyone can be hard workers if they want to be, so we certainly should be willing to work hard while serving God. Lastly, remind the class how to serve God this week (e.g. praying, being kind, sharing, obeying, etc.)
