课前准备

将小石子放入一个透明玻璃杯中，然后倒入清水。把小布片盖在空玻璃杯口上，用橡皮筋或细绳固定。

说明

我们每个人都会喝水——水是维持生命必不可少的。但是在饮用前，我们得确保水中没有细菌、有毒化学物或重金属。通常，我们会使用过滤器净化水，以免喝下后生病。

你们有谁知道水过滤器是怎么工作的？（等孩子回答）过滤器有很多种：从能供应整座城市、造价数百万的系统，到普通家庭用的简单滤壶，甚至有些露营者还会使用手持滤水器来净化河水或湖水。

今天我带来一个非常简单的过滤示范，它不能过滤微小颗粒或细菌，但可以帮助你们了解过滤的基本原理。

（展示装有水和小石子的玻璃杯）这些石子代表水中的“杂质”。

（举起空杯）我在这个空杯上盖了一块布作为过滤层。当我把有石子的水倒进这个杯子时，小石子就无法通过这个“过滤器”。（边说边示范倒水）

神也赐给我们两个宝贵的“过滤器”，帮助我们滤掉生命中的污秽。你们猜猜是哪两个？（让孩子猜）

没错，一个是圣经，一个是圣灵。

圣经会教导我们，引导我们活出圣洁与纯洁；
圣灵会在我们受试探时提醒我们、感动我们。

当我们常常浸泡在神的话语中，聆听圣灵的引导，就能远离那些玷污生命、拦阻我们与神同行的有害因素。

Life's Filter

The world around us may be polluted, but God gives us the means to remove these impurities.

MATERIALS:

1 clear drinking glass filled with water1 clear drinking glass that is empty1 Rubber band or piece of stringSeveral small rocksSmall piece of cloth

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Place the small rocks in one of the clear drinking glasses and then fill it with water. Place the small piece of cloth over the opening of the empty drinking glass and secure it in place using the rubber band or string.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

All of us drink water, it is essential for life. Before we drink water, we must make sure that it is not contaminated with bacteria, poisonous chemicals or heavy minerals. We generally filter our water to remove impurities, so we can drink it without getting sick.

How many of you know how a water filter works? (Allow for answers.) There are many different types of water filters, some costing millions of dollars that are able to process water for entire cities, to ones that cost much less. Some campers even use small hand held filters to purify the water they get from a stream or lake.

For the sake of illustration I have brought a very simple water filter system with me today, this filter will not remove microscopic particles or bacteria, but it will give you a good general idea of how water filters work.

(Display the glass that contains the water and small rocks.) These rocks represent the impurities in the water.

(Hold up the next glass.) I have fastened a filter over the opening of this empty glass. When I pour the water from our first glass into this one, the small rocks will not be able to pass through the filter material. (Demonstrate by pouring the water past the filter into the empty glass.)

God has given us two wonderful tools to help us filter out the impurities in our lives. Can you guess what these filter are? (Allow for answers.)

That's right. One is the Holy Bible, and the other is the Holy Spirit. The Bible will instruct us and give us wisdom to lead a pure and holy life. The Holy Spirit will convict us when we are tempted to indulge in sinful behaviors. If we immerse ourselves in God's Word, and faithfully listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we can remove a lot of the harmful elements that could pollute our lives and hinder our spiritual walk with God.
