课前准备

课前，将“耶稣图片”和“贴纸页”打印在普通纸上。剪下贴纸，用透明胶带把贴纸预备好，方便待会贴在太阳眼镜上。

说明

1.做

请一位自愿的学生到前面来，给他/她一副太阳眼镜，让他戴上。再请另一位学生拿着耶稣的图片，站在戴眼镜的学生前面6到7英尺（约2米）的距离，图片要举在对方能轻松看到的位置。

2.说

“请问戴眼镜的同学，你看得见这张耶稣的图片吗？”

他会说“看得见”，可能会说有点暗或看不太清楚。

然后对全班说：“在这个世界上，我们看属神的事情就像隔着一层暗暗的眼镜——罪拦住了我们的视线。”

拿一张“罪”的贴纸，用胶带贴在太阳眼镜的镜片上，然后问那位同学：“现在看耶稣的图片是更清楚还是更模糊了？”

继续这样做，一张张贴上，直到几乎完全看不到耶稣的图片为止。

每贴一张“罪”，就向孩子们解释：这些罪如何一点点蒙蔽我们，让我们越来越难跟随耶稣。

“好消息是：如果我们请求耶稣赦免我们的罪，祂会的！祂会除去遮住我们双眼的这些东西，让我们看清该专注的事物。”（请戴眼镜的同学把太阳眼镜摘下来。）

Blinded

Don't let the things of this world blind you from the things of God.

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class print the picture and sticker sheet on regular paper. Cut the stickers out and use tape to attach the stickers to the sunglasses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Ask a volunteer to come up in front of the class. Hand them the sunglasses and ask them to put them on. Have another volunteer come up and hand them the picture of Jesus. Ask the person holding the picture to stand 6 or 7 feet away from the person wearing the sunglasses. Have the person holding the picture hold the picture of Jesus in such a way as the person wearing the sunglasses can easily see it.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Ask the person wearing the sunglasses if they can see the picture of Jesus. They will say yes. They may complain that it is a bit dark or that it is a little hard to see. Tell the class that here on earth we see dimly the things of God. Sin gets in our way. Take one of the sin stickers and tape it to the lens of the sunglasses, ask the volunteer if it is easier or harder to see the picture of Jesus. Continue in this manner until it is next to impossible for them to see the picture of Jesus. As you tape each of the sins to the lens of the sunglasses explain to the children how each of these sins make it harder for us to follow Jesus. There is good news! If we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins, He will! He will remove those things that blind us and will give us insight into the things we need to focus on. (Have the volunteer remove the sunglasses.) Once we ask Jesus into our lives, the Holy Spirit will help us see things in a brand new way!
