等孩子(10分钟)

准备一个小西瓜（不要无籽西瓜），切成若干小块，确保每个孩子都能分到一块。孩子们吃西瓜时，请他们把所有西瓜籽都放进同一个碗里。让他们先猜一猜：“你们觉得这个碗里一共有多少颗西瓜籽？”然后，一起数一数这些种子，并告诉孩子们：“是不是很奇妙？我们只种下一颗西瓜籽，却可以长出一个这么好吃的西瓜，而且里面还有这么多新的种子！如果我们把这些种子全部种下去，将来结出来的西瓜可能多得我们都不知道该怎么办了！”

祂看见许多的人，就怜悯他们；因为他们困苦流离，如同羊没有牧人一般。于是对门徒说：‘要收的庄稼多，做工的人少。’（马太福音 9:36-37）

和孩子们一起把这段经文读几遍，然后把经文写在白板上。全班一起背诵一遍，然后擦掉一两个词，再背一遍。继续这样做，每次擦掉一些词，直到白板上的经文全部被擦掉。

引言：

这是撒种比喻系列的最后一课。今天，我们要读关于落在好土里的种子的故事。这颗种子长得非常好，甚至结出了更多的种子，而这些种子也继续长成强壮的植物。作为基督徒，我们也应该把自己的信仰分享给别人。这样，其他人就能听见福音，也可能成为基督徒。当我们把这些“种子”，也就是福音，分享给别人时，基督的身体就会继续增长。

读马太福音 13:8-9、23（撒种的比喻：落在好土里的种子）

请孩子们在自己的圣经中找到马太福音 13:8-9、23。可以请几位孩子自愿朗读，也可以由老师读给全班听。

讨论问题：

1. 在今天的故事里，种子落在了哪里？（好土里。）

2. 落在好土里的种子发生了什么事？（结出了果实，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。）

3. 种子落在好土里，和我们作基督徒有什么相似之处？（我们需要把自己的信仰分享给别人，使他们也有机会成为基督徒。这也会帮助我们自己的属灵生命成长。）

PARABLE OF THE SOWER

LESSON 4: Seeds that Fall On Good Soil

The fourth Bible lesson in this series focuses on the sower's seeds that fall on good soil. The children will discover how the wonderful the Word of God helps us grow spiritually and gives us everlasting life with Jesus.

AS KIDS ARRIVE (10 minutes)

You will need to have a small watermelon (not a seedless watermelon) cut up into several pieces. There should be one small piece of watermelon for each child. As the children eat the watermelon have them place all the watermelon seeds into a single bowl. Have them guess how many seeds may be in the bowl.

Then, count the seeds and say, "Isn't it amazing that when we plant just one watermelon seed we get this delicious watermelon full of all these additional watermelon seeds! If we planted all of these seeds, we would have more watermelon than we would know what to do with!"

MEMORY WORK (12 minutes)

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.' " Matthew 9:36-37 NIV

Read the verse together several times, then write the verse on the board. Say the verse together as a class, erase a word or two and say the verse again. Continue in this manner until the words are all erased.

SCRIPTURE READING AND DISCUSSION (15 minutes)

Introduction:

This is the final lesson of the series. Today we will read the story about the seed that fell on good soil. It grew very well, in fact it grew so well that it produced more seed. These seeds also grew to be strong plants. As Christians we should be sharing our faith with others, that way other people will hear the Good News and they may become Christian. The body of Christ continues to grow when we share seeds (the Good News) with others.

Matthew 13:8,9; 23 (Parable of the Sower - seed that fell on good soil)

Give each child a copy of the handout (Click here for handout) or have the kids find Matthew 13:8,9; 23 in their Bibles. Ask for volunteers to read the passage or if you prefer, read the passage to the children yourself.

Discussion Questions:

1. In our story today, where did the seeds fall? (Good soil.)

2. What happened to the seed that fell on good soil? (It produced a crop -- a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.)

3. How does the seed falling on good soil compare to us being a Christian? (We need to share our faith with others so they can become Christians. This also helps us grow spiritually.)

4. Is this an important message? How do we know? (Yes, Jesus said "He who has ears, let him hear.")

5. How can we share the Good News about Jesus with others? (Tell them, pray for them, share the Good News out of the Bible, ask them to come to Sunday school.)

APPLICATION (2 minutes)

Those who hear the Good News and take it to heart, can accept the free gift of salvation from Jesus Christ. We should live a productive life for our Lord. Please note that we cannot work our way into heaven, but if Jesus is the Lord of our lives we will want to live for Him. We will follow His rules and tell other people about Him. We won't be prefect, and we will still make mistakes, but we will try our best to live a life that is pleasing to God.
