（举起一叠打印纸。）我们的生命可以比作这一叠纸。（把整叠纸放下，再拿起其中一张。）

每一张纸，就像一个全新的日子。我们可以用这一天做很多事情。我们可以发挥艺术才能，画出一幅美丽的图画。我们可以写一个扣人心弦的冒险故事，让读者一直紧张地想知道接下来会发生什么。或者，我们也可以发挥创造力，做出一些全新的东西，就像很多年前莱特兄弟发明飞机一样。

（拿一张纸，把它折成纸飞机，然后让它飞过房间。）

当然，我们也可能让愤怒或挫折控制自己，把一整天都毁掉。（把一张纸揉成一团，扔进垃圾桶。）

一张张纸可以组成一章，一章章可以组成一本书，而一本本书又可以组成一整套。神满有恩典地把选择赐给我们，让我们决定怎样使用每一天。如果我们想把每一天所拥有的可能性充分活出来，就需要让神进入我们每天所做的一切。即使是原本很糟糕的一天，只要我们始终把神放在其中，最后也可能成为美好的一天。

圣经中的约瑟就是一个很好的例子。约瑟没有因为苦难，也没有因为那些自己无法控制的处境而放弃。他没有变成一个充满愤怒的年轻人，把那些艰难日子的“一页页”揉成一团，全部扔掉。相反，约瑟让神进入自己每天的生活。最终，他成为埃及仅次于法老、最有权力的人。

It's the quality that counts, not the quantity.

Stack of computer or copy Paper

DURATION:

Approximately 7 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

(Hold up the stack of computer paper.) Our lives can be compared to this stack of computer paper. (Set the stack down and pick up a single sheet of paper.)

Each sheet of paper is like a brand new day. There are many things we can do with it. We could be artistic and create a beautiful picture. We could write a breathtaking adventure story that has readers on the edge of their seats. Or perhaps we could be inventive and create something brand new like the Wright brothers did so many years ago when they invented the airplane.

(Take a sheet of paper, fold it into a paper airplane and sail it across the room.)

We could also let anger or frustration get the best of us and ruin the day completely. (Crumple a sheet of paper into a ball and toss it into the trash.)

Each sheet of paper can be combined into chapters, the chapters into a book, and the book into volumes. God graciously gives us the choice on what we will do with each day. We must include God in our daily activities, if we are going to use each day to its full potential. Even bad days can turn out good when we keep God in the picture.

A good biblical example of this would be Joseph. Joseph didn't let hardship or circumstances beyond his control make him give up. He didn't become an angry young man, crumpling the pages of those days and throwing them away. Instead, Joseph included God in his day to day activities and he ended up being the second most powerful man in Egypt.
