1.剧本
Danny: 嗨,Sophie!
Sophie:
Danny:
Danny:
Sophie:
Danny:
Sophie:
Sophie: Danny,
Danny:
Danny:
Danny:
Sophie:
Sophie:

Danny: | Hi, Sophie! What’s going on? |
Sophie: | Well, I’ve been wondering about prayer lately. |
Danny: | Maybe I can help! I have all kinds of ideas about how to pray. |
Sophie: | You do?! That’s great news. See, I have a friend who is very sick and when I try to pray to God, I just don’t know what to say. |
Danny: | Oh, well I think it’s important to do the right things when you pray. |
| |
Sophie: | That seems strange…What do you mean? |
Danny: | Well, like standing really tall and talking very loudly. |
Sophie: | Hmm…I don’t know about that... |
Danny: | And then making sure other people can hear you. I like to pray out loud when there are a lot of other people around. |
Sophie: | Danny, that just doesn’t seem right… |
Danny: | And for extra fun, you can wave your arms in the air and dance around. Then you really know God will hear you! |
Sophie: | But…no one I know prays like that, Danny. Who taught you how to pray? |
Danny: | Oh, I just came up with some stuff on my own. Prayer is really fun when you do all that stuff. |
Sophie: | But is prayer supposed to be a time for showing off? My Dad told me that prayer means “talking with God.” |
Danny: | Oh, yeah? I’ve never heard that before… |
Sophie: | And that all we have to do is just speak the truth and ask God for what we need. |
Danny: | So, there’s no shouting? No dancing? No wavy your arms?! |
Sophie: | I don’t think so, Danny. |
Danny: | Then I guess I don’t know very much about prayer, Sophie. |
Sophie: | I just wish I knew what to pray for my friend. |
Danny: | [deep in thought] Well, doesn’t the Bible teach us that God knows what we need before we even ask? Maybe God just wants us to talk to Him even if we feel the words aren’t right. |
Sophie: | That makes sense. I know that when my parents pray they don’t use fancy words or anything. I just feel like God doesn’t hear me when I pray. |
Danny: | Of course, He hears you, Sophie! God always hears our prayers because even Jesus taught His disciples how to pray. I guess I should have thought about that before I said all that other stuff about prayer. Can we pray together? |
Sophie: | That would be awesome! |
Danny: | Well, here’s what Luke 11:2-4 says: “He said to them, ‘When you pray, say, Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.” |
Sophie: | That’s not a fancy prayer at all! I think I can pray like that. Let’s pray! |
| |
THE END | |
Application:
Prayers aren’t supposed to be fancy – God just wants us to talk to Him! So, whether we are feeling sad, mad, happy, or angry, we can talk to God as our friend and He will always listen.
