讨论问题：

你为什么选这个动物当你最喜欢的？
为什么没有选择其他动物呢？
如果这些动物是真的，而没有被人选中作为宠物，你觉得它们会怎样？
所有动物都一样可爱吗？神是不是爱祂创造的每一样东西？

动物和人其实有相似之处。动物有不同的外形、颜色、体型和个性，但不论它们看起来如何，它们都是动物。同样，人也有不同的身材、肤色和性格，可不论我们长什么样、表现如何，我们都是神所造的人。

每个人都需要经历神的爱。神不希望我们因为某人看起来和我们不同，或因为他们的行为让我们难以喜欢，就忽略或疏远他们。主希望我们爱所有人，甚至是我们的仇敌。而我们可以爱敌人的一种方式，就是为他们祷告。

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

(Give each child a coloring page and crayons.) Today, we are going to discuss favorites. I want you to pick your favorite animal on the page and then color it. Remember, you can only pick one animal.(Once everyone has finished coloring, go around the room to see which animals were selected as favorites.)

Discussion Questions:

1. Why did you pick that animal as your favorite?

2. Why didn’t you pick one of the other animals?

3. If these were real animals, what do you think would happen to the animals that were not picked as pets?

4. Are all animals as lovable as other animals? Does God love everything He created?

Animals and people share some similarities. Animals come in different shapes, colors, sizes, and have different personalities. However, no matter what they look like, they are all still animals. People come in different sizes, colors, and have different personalities as well. Yet, no matter how we look or how we act, we are all people created by God.

Everyone needs to experience God's love. God does not want us to ignore or neglect people just because they do not look like us or because their actions make them hard to love. The Lord wants us to love everyone, even our enemies. One way we can love our enemies is by praying for them.
