是的，我们很多人都会在得不到自己想要的东西时感到难过。这个情绪有一个大一点的名字，叫做“不满足”。但是，神呼召我们要因祂所赐的感到喜乐，而不是为祂还没有给我们的感到难过。当我们为神已经给我们的东西感到开心，这就叫做“满足”。

那你觉得：当我们没有得到自己想要的东西时，怎样才能仍然感到满足和喜乐呢？就像使徒保罗一样，我们需要仰望耶稣，向祂求帮助。如果你总是想要更多，那你可以向神祷告：“主啊，请除去我总是想要更多的心，教我珍惜你已经赐给我的。”

神一定会按祂最知道对你好的方式，来供应你一切所需。

有一节很棒的经文可以提醒我们：要在每件事上都感到喜乐和满足，它就是腓立比书 4:4。我们来一起边做动作边背诵这节经文，帮助我们记住：

“你们要靠主常常喜乐，我再说，你们要喜乐！”——腓立比书 4:4

我们来配上动作练习：

每次说到“喜乐”时，双手高高举起；
说到“我”时，指向自己；
说到“说”时，用双手围住嘴巴；

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Raise your hands if you have ever been unhappy because you didn’t get something you wanted. (Give examples: not having the toys, clothes, or food you want.)

Yes, many of us are unhappy when we don’t get what we want. There is a big word for that, it is called discontentment. Yet, God calls us to be happy with what He has given us and not be upset about what He hasn’t given us. Being happy with what God has given you is called being content.

How do you think you can be content or happy in all things, even when you don’t get what you want? Like the Apostle Paul, we need to look to Jesus for help. If you always want more, ask God to remove that desire and teach you to be happy with what He has already given you. God will supply all your needs in a way that He knows is best for you.

One great way to help remind yourself to be happy or content in all things is a verse found in the Bible, Philippians 4:4. Let’s say the verse together using some fun hand motions to help us remember it.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 NIV Every time you say the word “rejoice,” raise your hands high above your head.As you say the word “I,” point to yourself.As you say the word “say,” cup your hands around your mouth.As you say "Philippians 4:4," clap four times.

Let’s pray that God will remove our desire to always want more and help us to be satisfied and content with what He has already given us.
