你们不要论断人，免得你们被论断。——马太福音 7:1

请孩子们跟你大声重复背诵几遍这节经文。当孩子们重复这节经文时，教他们一只手握拳，像法官一样垂直用力砸在另一只平摊的手掌上，就像法官敲击法槌一样。。

圣经故事(15分钟)

让孩子们围坐在你周围，准备听故事。介绍后，请直接从圣经中读出来，如果可以的话，用儿童圣经，便于他们理解。

导入：

今天，我们要从耶稣那里学习一个人生功课：外表并不总能代表一个人的内心。有人外表看起来凶狠或邋遢，心里却可能善良又友好；也有人外表看起来光鲜甜美，心里却可能充满邪恶。来读一读耶稣关于不要凭外表论断别人的教导。

读马太福音 7:1-5（论断别人）

讨论问题：

当我们论断别人时，会发生什么？（我们也会被论断。）
经文中提到的“兄弟眼中的刺”和“自己眼中的梁木”是什么意思？（这里讲的是我们生命中的罪，不是真正的锯末或木头。）
耶稣说到指出别人罪的时候，祂告诉我们什么？（祂说要先除掉我们自己生命中的罪，再去指出别人的问题。）
这是不是意味着我们应该忽视别人的罪？（不是，我们需要留意周围罪的影响，但不应该带着苛刻或挑剔的态度。）
为什么除掉自己生命中的罪能帮助我们去帮助别人？（知道自己也是罪人，会让我们对别人更有怜悯之心。）

先一起感谢神造人各有不同，再求神教导我们如何去爱人，而不是论断别人。发给孩子们奥利奥饼干作点心，同时讨论马太福音 7:3。大家一起看牙齿，谁的牙缝里卡了饼干碎？每个人都有。那么，当我们牙缝里也有饼干屑时，有什么资格指着别人说“哦，好恶心”呢？

BIBLE VERSE (5 minutes)

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged." Matthew 7:1 NIV

Have the children repeat this verse several times aloud with you. As you repeat the verse, have the children make a fist with one hand and slam it vertically into the other hand which is lying flat. (Like a judge would slam a mallet down.)

BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

Gather the children around you in preparation for story time. After the introduction, read the story directly from the Bible. If possible, use a Children's Bible so it will be easier for the kids to understand.

Introduction:Today, we are going to learn a life lesson from Jesus. He wants us to know that outward appearances do not always show what a person is on the inside. People can look mean or dirty on the outside, but they may be kind and friendly on the inside. While someone’s outward appearance may look attractive and sweet, his or her heart may be full of evil. Let's read what Jesus says about judging others based on outward appearances.

Read Matthew 7:1-5 (Judging Others)

Discussion Questions:

1. What happens to us when we judge others? (We are also judged.)

2. What does it mean when the verse talks about a speck of sawdust in our brother’s eye or a plank in our own eye? (The verse is talking about sin in our lives, not sawdust, or boards.)

3. What does Jesus say about pointing out someone else's sin? (He tells us to remove the sins from our lives before finding fault with others.)

4. Does this mean that we should overlook or ignore another person’s sin? (No, we need to be aware of the sinful influences around us, but we should not have a harsh or fault-finding attitude towards others.)

5. How will removing the sin from our lives allow us to help others with their sins? (Knowing that we are sinners as well will help us be more merciful towards others.)

Start by thanking God for people and their differences. Then, ask God to show us how to love others instead of judging them. Pass out Oreo cookies for a snack, while talking about Matthew 7:3. Let’s look at everyone's teeth. Who has cookie crumbs in their teeth? Everyone does. Who are we to point our fingers and say, “Oh, that is gross,” when we have the same crumbs stuck in our teeth?
