请孩子们安静地坐在椅子上，闭上眼睛。老师制造一些轻柔的声音，例如：轻声说话、轻轻拍手、把两支铅笔轻轻敲在一起，或者轻轻摇响小铃铛。（也可以根据需要，用其他轻柔的声音代替。）孩子们要仔细听老师发出的这些轻柔声音。当他们听见声音时，就举起一只手，但眼睛仍然保持闭着。当声音停止时，就把手放下来，继续安静地等候下一个声音。

诗篇23篇告诉我们，神使我们躺卧在青草地上，领我们到可安歇的水边。现在，我们要做一个有趣的活动，帮助自己安静下来。活动结束以后，我们会一起谈谈，为什么与主有安静相处的时间非常重要。现在，请大家安静地坐在椅子上，闭上眼睛。等所有人都闭上眼睛以后，我会发出几种轻柔的声音。当你听见声音时，请举起一只手，但不要睁开眼睛。声音停止时，就把手放下来，继续安静地听下一个声音。

（神向我们说话的一个重要方式，就是借着祂的话语——圣经。在与主安静相处的时候，我们可以思想从圣经中所学到的，也可以借着祷告与主说话。）

有哪些地方适合安静下来思想主？

（例如：教会、家里的卧室、后院、露台等。）

Calm, Peaceful Environment

The children will learn how to create a calm, peaceful environment to rest in the Lord.

TOPICS:

Peace, Prayer, Psalm 23, Quite Time, Shepherd, Word of God

MATERIALS:

Small bell, Two pencils

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The children sit quietly in their chairs with their eyes closed while the teacher makes soft noises: whispering, gently clapping, tapping two pencils together, and softly ringing a small bell. (Other soft noises can be substituted as needed.) The children will listen for the soft sounds the teacher makes. When the children hear one of the soft noises, they should raise one of their hands, while keeping their eyes closed. When the soft noise stops, the children should lower their hands.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

In Psalm 23, it states that God makes us lie down in green pastures and leads us beside quiet waters. We are going to do a fun activity that will help us become quiet and still. After the activity we will talk about why it is important to have quiet time with the Lord.I want all of you sit quietly in your chairs with your eyes closed. Once everyone's eyes are closed, I will make several soft noises, when you hear the soft noise raise one hand, but keep your eyes closed. When the sound stops lower your hand and listen for the next sound.

Discussion Questions:

1. Why do you think God makes us lie down in green pasture and leads us to quiet waters? (God wants us to rest in His presence. Resting in His presence allows us to reflect on who He is and think about all the wonderful things He does for us.)

2. Is it easier to think about God when things are quiet or when things are loud? (It is easier to think about God and hear His voice when we are in a quiet place. Loud environments will distract us.)

3. How can we hear God's voice? (One way God talks to us is through His Word, the Bible. During our quiet times with the Lord, we can think about what we have learned from the Bible and talk to the Lord through prayer.)

4. Where are some good quite places to think about the Lord? (At church, at home in our bedroom, backyard or patio, etc.)
