上课前，为每个孩子打印一份活动页。每个孩子还需要一支铅笔。

说明

向每个孩子分发活动页和铅笔。

告诉孩子们，他们今天要做一项非常重要的工作。今天他们要数出活动页上塔里包含的积木数目。

首先，我们将数出塔中有多少个“黄色”积木，然后在提供的空白处写下你的答案。

接下来数出塔中有多少个“红色”积木，然后在提供的空白处写下你的答案。

接下来数出塔中有多少个“蓝色”积木，然后在提供的空白处写下你的答案。

接下来数出塔中有多少个“褐色”积木，然后在提供的空白处写下你的答案。

接下来数出塔中有多少个“绿色”积木，然后在提供的空白处写下你的答案。

问班上是否有人能数出塔里一共有多少积木，如果不能，就整个班一起来数。

告诉孩子们，很久以前人们以为他们能建造一座塔，直达上天。问孩子们，建造一座那么高的塔，他们觉得需要多少块砖头。

Counting Tower

A Sunday school activity to help children improve math skills, while learning about the "Tower of Babel."

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class, print one copy of the activity page for each child. Each child will also need a pencil.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Distribute an activity page and pencil to each child.

Tell the children that they have a very important job to do today. Today they will be counting the number of blocks contained in the tower on our worksheet.

First we will count how many "Yellow" blocks are in the tower, and then write your answer in the space provided.

Next count how many "Red" blocks are in the tower, and then write your answer in the space provided.

Next count how many "Blue" blocks are in the tower, and then write your answer in the space provided.

Next count how many "Brown" blocks are in the tower, and then write your answer in the space provided.

Next count how many "Green" blocks are in the tower, and then write your answer in the space provided.

Ask if anyone in the class can count all of the blocks in the tower, if not, count them all together as a class.

Tell the children that a long time ago people thought that they could build a tower that would reach all the way to Heaven. Ask them how many bricks they think that would take to build a tower that tall.
