安排座位：让孩子们坐在能够清楚看到白板的位置。
说明：告诉他们，今天他们不仅会学习耶稣会做的事，还会学习耶稣能做的事。
在白板上写下以下词语，分成两列：

欺骗医治

偷窃服侍

八卦爱

撒谎善良

诽谤谦卑

贪婪忍耐

不诚实管教

讨论：

问：第一列中的词语有什么共同点？

（等待回答并讨论。孩子们很可能会说第一列列出的都是不好的行为。）

问：第二列中的词语有什么共同点？

（再次等待回答并讨论。孩子们通常会说第二列列出的是好的行为。）

读经：

现在请大家翻到约翰福音5:19，并一起朗读：“我实实在在的告诉你们，子从自己不能作什么，惟有看见父所作的，子才能作；父所作的事，子也照样作。”（约翰福音 5:19）

解释：

现在，再次看看第一列和第二列中的词语。耶稣从未做过第一列中的任何事情，因为他从未见过天父做这些事情。耶稣会做第二列中的事情，因为他看到天父也做这些事情。

总结：

耶稣说他凭自己什么都不能做，只做他看见父所做的事。他可以医治病人、服侍他人、爱人、谦卑和忍耐，因为这些都是天父做的。但管教呢？是的，耶稣也可以面对和纠正犯罪的人，因为神也这样做。今天神如何管教我们呢？（等待回答。例如，神可能会借着父母来纠正我们的错误。）

应用：

作为神的儿女，我们也应当只做天父会做的事，也就是耶稣所做的事！如果时间允许，可以让孩子们为两列分别再补充一些行为。

What My Father Does

Jesus only did what he saw his Father doing. We should only do what Jesus would do. John 5:19

TOPICS:

Whiteboard, markers

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Have the children be seated where they can see the board. Explain to them that today they will learn not only what Jesus would do, but what He can do. Write the following words/phrases on the board in two columns:

CHEAT STEAL GOSSIP LIESLANDERBE GREEDYBE DISHONEST

HEALSERVELOVEBE KINDBE HUMBLEBE PATIENTDISCIPLINE

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

What do all of these words in the first column have in common? (Allow for answers and discussion. Kids will no doubt say that the first column lists behaviors that are bad.)

What do all of these words in the second column have in common? (Again, allow for answers and discussion. Kids will immediately say the second column lists behaviors that are good.)

Now everyone turn to John 5:19 in your Bibles, and read what it says."I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." John 5:19 NIV

Now what do the words in the first column have in common, and what do the words in the second column have in common? (If the children do not get the connection, share with them that Jesus could never do anything in the first column, because He never saw his Father doing any of them. Jesus can do those listed in the second column, because He saw his Father doing them.)

Jesus said He can do nothing by himself, only what He sees his Father doing. Jesus could heal the sick, He could serve and be humble, He could love, He could be kind and compassionate. Whatever He saw his Father doing, He could do also. But what about discipline? Yes, Jesus could even confront and discipline those who are sinning, because God does that too. How does God discipline today? (Allow for answers. For example, God may use parents to correct us when we are doing something wrong.)

So what does all of this mean for us? As God’s children, we should only do what God does, and what Jesus did!

If time permits, have the children add additional behaviors to both columns.
