课前准备

上课前，把牧杖图样打印在中等厚度的卡纸上，并剪下来。另外预备一些贴纸。

说明

让每个孩子用彩色笔和贴纸装饰自己的牧杖。

2.说

开始活动以前，先和孩子们一起读约翰福音 10:14。

讨论问题：

牧人常常会带着杖，为什么呢？（帮助他们走路，帮助他们保护羊群，也表明他们有带领和管理羊群的权柄。）
你觉得羊会因为看见牧人的杖而感到安心吗？（很可能会。）
我们是主的羊，我们也能因祂的杖而得到安慰吗？（能。）

诗篇23篇告诉我们，主是我们的牧者，祂的杖和竿都安慰我们。我们可以安心，因为知道耶稣会保护我们。祂是好牧人，我们是祂的羊。祂按着名字认识我们每一个人。所以，我们不需要害怕。

DURATION:

Approximately 15 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class print the staffs on medium card stock and then cut them out. Obtain Stickers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Have each children decorate his or her staff using markers and stickers.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Before beginning the activity, read John 10:14 to the class.

Discussion Questions:

1. Shepherds often carried staffs, but why? (To help them walk, to help them protect their sheep, and to show they are in a position of authority.)

2. Do you think sheep find comfort by their shepherd's staff? (Probably.)

3. As the Lord’s sheep can we be comforted by His staff as well? (Yes.)

Psalm 23 states that the Lord is our shepherd and His rod and staff comfort us. We can rest in knowing that Jesus protects us. He is the Good Shepherd and we are His sheep. He knows each one of us by name. We do not have to be afraid.

Today, we are going to decorate a staff. You can decorate your staff any way you like using markers and stickers.
