引言：

今天，我们要学习：神的大能扶持信徒，并赐给我们过敬虔生活所需要的一切。

读彼得后书 1:3-11（属灵成长）

讨论问题：

是什么赐给我们过敬虔生活所需要的一切？（基督的神圣能力，借着我们对祂的认识。）
我们借着什么得以与神的性情有分，并脱离世上因邪恶私欲而来的败坏？（耶稣所赐又宝贵又极大的应许。）
我们在哪里可以找到这些又宝贵又极大的应许？（神的话语——圣经。）
为了在属灵生命中成长，我们应当分外殷勤，在信心上加上哪七样品格？（参见彼得后书 1:5-7：德行、知识、节制、忍耐、虔敬、爱弟兄的心，以及爱众人的心。）
圣经怎样描述那些没有表现出这些品格的人？（他们是眼瞎的，忘记了自己过去的罪已经得了洁净。）
我们应当殷勤地做什么？（借着在信心上不断加上德行、知识、节制、忍耐、虔敬、爱弟兄的心和爱众人的心，使自己的恩召和拣选坚定不移。）

SCRIPTURE READING AND DISCUSSION (15 minutes)

Introduction:Today's lesson will teach us that believers are sustained by God's Power, which gives them everything they need to live godly lives.

Read 2 Peter 1:3-11 (Spiritual Growth)Discussion Questions:

1. What is the source that gives us everything we need to live a godly live? (Christ's divine power, through our knowledge of Him.)

2. Through what may we participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires? (Jesus' great and precious promises.)

3. Where can these great and precious promises be found? (God's Word, the Bible.)

4. Name seven things we should make every effort to add to our faith so that we will grow spiritually. (See 2 Peter 1:4, Goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.)

5. What does scripture say about those who do not display these characteristics? (They are blind and have forgotten that they have been cleansed from their past sins.)

6. What should we be eager to do? (Make our election sure by developing our faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love.)

7. What is the reward for doing these things? (We will never fail spiritually, and we will receive a rich welcome into Jesus' eternal Kingdom.)
